"No right minds could wrong me this many times."

So, I think I've spoken about this already, and I'm not sure how or when it happened, but I've recently developed acid reflux.

... :(

It makes me feel like an old person. I can't eat too soon before I go to bed, or I'll wake up feeling nauseous and like I have to throw up, except that I can't.

When I first started feeling nauseous more frequently, I freaked out and spent an hour on WebMD, thinking that I had some sort of life-threatening illness or that God had decided to bestow an immaculate conception within me (just to prove that He could). The latter was actually scarier to me, but I knew that it was probably unlikely. Anyway, I finally just went to the doctor and found out that I have acid reflux.

It really, really sucks.

Sometimes, I take TUMS for it... but my mom bought the berry mix kind and they taste so gross. I have to hold my breath and chew them as fast as I can, before downing a glass of water. Ugh.

Lately, my acid reflux has just been a lot worse. I've been so nauseous for the last five days and yesterday was the worst. It was Mother's Day, so, I decided to be a good daughter and go to church (for my mom because she asked me to... awww). I got up extra early and felt like I was going to fall over while brushing my teeth. I could have stayed home but I don't know, I guess that I thought that going to mass (for my mom) was more important than staying home and getting some rest. That sounds super goody-goody but I have been the cause of her high blood pressure for the last few years and it has only been lately that I have decided to make it up to her, haha.

Anyway, I felt like I was going to black out during mass, or something. At one point, I decided to put all my weight on my left foot... I tripped and almost fell onto the woman beside me. She was not very happy.

Last night, I had an overwhelming craving for celery (because of something that a Twitter friend of mine had tweeted :)...), which I had... The thing is, I'm kind of allergic to celery. It's not like, a life-threatening allergy, though. Mostly, I just get a stomach ache or my ears and throat get itchy. But anyway, I guess that acid reflux and oral allergy syndrome don't mix to well because after eating the celery, I had the biggest, baddest stomach ache ever, last night. Finally, I gave in and just threw up all of the celery and Pocky sticks that I had ingested and went to sleep feeling crummy.

Now, I am here, in bed, writing this blog. My stomach is still kind of angry with me, so, I'm trying to be good to it. In a bit, I am going to start reading The Shack, which I am excited about starting. Apparently, it's amazing, so yes. Okay, time to read, now!
