"Even though it's a struggle, love is all we got."

My dad bought me a sweater for Christmas, today.

I fell asleep after coming home from the St. Pat's Talent Show, and when I woke up and went downstairs, my dad proudly brought out a bag of sweaters that he bought for my mom and I. He was so excited and was like, "I got you sweaters, today! Merry Christmas!!!" The sweater is all white with a zipper down the front, and isn't really something I'd normally wear... in fact, it's the total opposite of my style, but I'm going to wear it because my silly dad bought it for me and it's the thought that counts right? Besides, it's not completely hideous and I can't really remember the last time that my dad bought me a present. Huh.

It seems that the more I grow up, the more my parents are trying to build a stronger relationship with me. They are so cute. I found them a website on which they can watch Vietnamese movies, and they've been addicted ever since. Every night, they are cuddled in front of my dad's laptop, catching up on their movies. They keep asking me to hang out with them more. I know that they probably think that I'll move out after graduation and never visit them again. But oh, I'll visit. I mean, who else is going to make me home made pho?!
