Today, my dad took me to Michaels', the art supply store, so that I could purchase a new sketch pad and more sketch pencils. After I had found everything that I needed, plus patterned paper AND two scrapbooks that I got on SALE for ten dollars each (They are so pretty and used to cost thirty dollars each!), I found my dad wandering around the aisles sniffing the scented candles. He said that he was looking for a clean, natural scent so that our house would smell nice. So, I started smelling candles with him. I picked up a candle that was labeled, "Sugar Cookies", sniffed it, gagged a little in my mouth, made a face, and handed it to my dad. It did not smell like sugar cookies. My dad sniffed it and said, "What is this? It smells like PEACHES! I like it!"
I don't know why, but that moment just made me smile so big. We ended up choosing a sandlewood & vanilla candle. I love my dad.
