I reeeeeally wish that I had gone to French immersion.
Unfortunately for me, my mother told me that when I was little, we went for an interview at a French immersion elementary school... and I botched it by getting out of my seat in the middle of the interview in order to reach into a jar of candy on the interviewer's desk. Oops. What can I say? I loooooves me some sweets.
Anyway, I wish that I had gone to French immersion because currently, I am feeling a little lost in my French class. It's like watching that French channel on TV. I can pick up bits and pieces but a lot of it is just jibberish. The only things that I have are the grammar skills that I picked up in high school, and they don't seem very useful when my prof is speaking French at a hundred miles a minute. I thought that being able to score in the 90s for my French 12 provincial would be enough, but evidently it is not.
Maybe it's time for me to immerse myself in French television for the rest of my university life.
... But it soooo boringgggggggggggggg :(
