So, I just came home from lunch with an old family friend.

We went out for some dim sum and afterward, decided to go shopping at Oakridge.
... Well, it was mostly just her shopping and me watching in amazement.

 She dropped $200 on a grey sweater at BCBG, $50 on CDs at HMV, and finally, $400 on a purse at Michael Kors. Her closet is a dream land full of Prada, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton... every major label under the sun. Did I mention that she is a grown woman who is about fifty years old? And that she is probably the most intelligent person I know? Yet she still manages to stay grounded and have a sense of humour about everything.
 Her son was hired at the top law firm in Boston even before he got out of law school. THEY sought HIM out and paid for the rest of his education. He is surrounded by Harvard graduates at his new job. Her daughter will be graduating from med. school next year.

Yeah. Amazing.

I want to be this woman when I grow up!!!!!!!!!
