"You chose the boy with the dark, brown hair."

Today is Palm Sunday.

... But that's not the point of my blog.

TODAY, my friend, Garvin Morospe (name changed to protect the innocent) HIT ON A GIRL!!!!! A real, live girl!!!!! A stranger!!!!!!!!

Oh, it was amazing. I'm so proud.

After play rehearsal, we decided to have lunch at Samurai Sushi. I noticed that they locked gazes as soon as we entered the restaurant. Flirty words were exchanged between the two. After handing him his tuna roll, she giggled and asked him about the Little Mermaid sticker on his lapel. He smiled embarrassingly, pointed at me and muttered something like, "Oh, she stuck it on me. Ha. Ha." It was like a movie. It was obvious that she was destined to be his "sassy girl."

Throughout our meal, Bal-El, Tomar, and I tried peer-pressuring Garvin into asking the Samurai girl for her number/telling her, "You're really pretty."

For a long time, Garvin refused; however, after much pestering and peer-pressure tactics on our part, he finally gave in and agreed to tell her, "You're really, really pretty"... as long as we were not in the restaurant while he did it.

So, the three of us left the restaurant and prepared to watch Garvin embarrass himself. We tried to be sneaky by secretly watching through the glass door.

It wasn't very sneaky though.

At first, we were so sure that he wasn't going to go through with it. But then! I saw the Samurai girl make a, "Huh?" face after Garvin said something to her. Hahahahahahahaha he had to repeat himself! It was epic. Pure gold.

Apparently, after he first told her that she was "really, really pretty," she didn't hear him and he had to say it again! All together now, "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww."

So cute!

And that was my day. I bet that when Garvin sees this, he will call me a dick. Or a jerk. Something like that (love you!). Anyway, until next time, ladies and gents!

(We live seven blocks apart, by the way)
