What a lovely day!
It snowed! I got to stay home in my pj's alllllll day and I didn't have to take a stupid math or lit. mid-term. All was lovely until oh, maybe about twenty minutes ago when I dropped my fish into the bathtub and it slid down into the sewers forever.
Yes.
.... SERIOUSLY, ACTUALLY, AND FOR REAL!!
It all began when I decided that I was going to clean my fish bowl because well, I hadn't done it in like, two months, and the water was super murky. At first, things went really well as I began my normal fish-bowl-cleaning procedure. I put the fish into a separate container and ran the fish bowl under hot water. After I finished, I began to transfer the fish back into its bowl. Usually, I just push the fish into the bowl, using my net (which is actually a strainer that I found in my kitchen). Usually, he cooperates pretty well and slides into the bowl nicely.
.... BUT, this time, the fish like, flew out of the strainer and into the bathtub.
Omigod, omigod, omigod.
I FLIPPED out and starting screaming as I watched my poor little fishy flop around helplessly in the tub.
In a quick moment of supreme intelligence, I decided to TURN ON THE TAP.
... The water forced the fish into the the drain (the drain my bathtub looks like this, except mine only has four holes), which caused me to freak out even more. I really didn't want to touch the fish. Honestly, when the fish slid into the that little bowl drain, I thought that it would be okay because the holes aren't even THAT big- certainly not big enough for a fish to slide through. Or so I thought.
And well, you know, I thought wrong and down he went.
Forever.
Goodbye my little fish. It was fun while it lasted.
